When you make contributions on Stituency, we are required to collect your name, postal address, phone number, email address, occupation and employer, and to send this information along with your donation. Each candidate, committee, or organization receiving your donations may also include this information in their regulatory reports. Stituency submits its campaign finance reports on a rolling basis, as required by state and/or federal law. FEC reports containing this information are publicly available from the FEC web site. State reports are typically available through the state agency designated to oversee campaigns and elections.
You can visit the Services without providing any Personal Data. If you choose not to provide any Personal Data, you may not be able to use certain Stituency Services.
Stituency is not in the business of selling your information. We consider this information to be a vital part of our relationship with you. There are, however, certain circumstances in which we may share your Personal Data with certain third parties without further notice to you, as set forth below:
We log IP addresses, which are the locations of computers or networks on the Internet, and analyze them for systems administration and troubleshooting purposes. We also aggregate the number of page hits to track the popularity of certain pages and improve the quality of our site.
Stituency does not knowingly solicit or collect personally identifying information from children under the age of 13. In fact, Stituency does not permit contributions from minors under the age of 18 without parental consent.
