Influence Legislation

Pick a bill. Pick a representative. Pledge money to direct their vote. If they listen, they get your campaign contribution. If they don't, it goes to their next opponent.

Get started by choosing a bill for an issue you care about. These are real bills that are currently being considered by Congress. Select one of these popular bills or search all active legislation.

How it Works

PICK A BILL

What issue do you care about the most? Tax reform? Health care? Gun control? Choose one of the popular bills in the news, browse bill categories or search.

PICK A SIDE

Do you want to support this bill or do you want to fight it? Choose the outcome that you'd like to see. We're fully non-partisan. All opinions are welcome.

PICK A REPRESENTATIVE

Who's vote do you want to influence? Choose your representative or someone else's. Republican or Democrat. House or Senate.

DECIDE HOW MUCH TO CONTRIBUTE

This amount will be contributed to this representative's next campaign if they vote the way you requested. If they don't, it'll go to the campaign of their next opponent.

GET THE WORD OUT

We’ll get your contribution to the right place. Increase your impact by getting others to contribute and calling your representative.

Motivation

Lobbyists have tremendous impact on the legislative process. In 2016, over 3 billion dollars was spent on lobbying by special interests. Individual citizens have no effective way to participate in this process. The existing mechanisms for political participation fall short for a number of reasons.

Not Public
The number of calls, letters and faxes that a representative receives are not public which makes them easily ignored.
No Repercussions
If a representative ignores your calls, letters and faxes, there are no immediate consequences.
Not Timely
Campaign donations usually only happen during campaign season and important legislation is discussed all the time.
Not Directed
Campaign donations are not tied to issues or specific pieces of legislation.
